Story of the game
Play as the CEO and be the first to reach the peak enterprise maturity and enable your enterprise to fully harness AI’s capabilities to transform your data!
- Spin the spinner and move your token to the indicated number of spaces on the board.
- If you land on a square at the TOP of a Red Pipe, move your token down to the bottom of the pipe.
- If you land on a square at the BOTTOM of a Green Pipe, move your token up to the top of the pipe.
- At the end of your turn, draw a Scenario Card and perform the actions on the card (when applicable)
Once per game, you can choose to play a Rescue token to avoid penalties. To get a detailed description of game board, please refer to the the PDF below.
Definition
Red Pipes: Red Pipes represent common mistakes made that hinder a company’s ability to make data-driven decisions and inhibit your cloud transformation.
Green Pipes: Green Pipes represent the steps that can be taken to enhance a company’s ability to harness their data and propel your modernization journey.
Milestone Rows: Milestones indicated on the right of the board represent key stages in a company’s road to data-driven cloud maturity. Reference these Milestones when using Scenario Cards.
Scenario Cards: Scenario cards are random events or opportunities that can be capitalized on if the player has, or has not, passed the related Milestone square. For each milestone, there are three bonus cards (green) and three penalty cards (red).
If a bonus card is drawn and the player is in or beyond the milestone row listed on the card, follow the instructions on the card. If the player has not yet reached the related milestone, discard the card without taking action.
If a penalty card is drawn and the player has not yet reached the milestone listed on the card, follow the instructions on the card. If the player is in or has passed the related milestone, discard the card without taking action.
How it works

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to build the digital version of the Ollion branded Snakes and Ladders game. As always, should you or any member of your Ollion Team be caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This tape will self-destruct in five seconds.
Mission possible
We got a bit creative and borrowed a quote from Mission Impossible for inspiration. With that said, we've developed a board game for the 2023 AWS re:Invent event. Now, we're looking to digitize the game and feature it on the Ollion website. The initial code has been put together by a beginner python coder (no names mentioned!), so your task is to:
- Build upon that code or create your own code.
- Create the front end interface that brings the text base version of the code to life digitally using the design that was shown above.
Bring your own code
Although the base code was written in Python, you can choose whatever code you desire provided that ultimately, it has to be able to be accessed and played on the Ollion website.
