Managed Services
Velocity = displacement divided by time.
The rate of business innovation required to accelerate beyond your competition can be defined by the velocity at which you apply cloud-native technologies. In today’s cloud-native world, accelerating velocity requires a true partner. One who provides the expertise to support a wide range of cloud technologies and partners with you in achieving your goals.
Traditional managed cloud services. We do that too.
If you’re looking to outsource your traditional managed cloud services capabilities to focus more on core business functions, Ollion can be your managed cloud service provider. We manage, monitor and resolve problems related to IT systems and functions that include networking, connectivity, software and hardware maintenance. This includes:
Monitoring and alerting
Ollion sets up your cloud service provider's native monitoring solution to only generate alerts that can be actioned upon by our Global Service Center according to your pre-defined runbooks. If you prefer other monitoring tools, Ollion's service delivery personnel can be given administrative access to adjust alerting thresholds and configure alert generation settings.
Maintenance and patching
Ollion handles monthly scheduled maintenance for your cloud environment, leveraging your chosen cloud provider's native services to install security patches.
Backup and restorations
Using your cloud provider's native services, automated snapshots of systems are taken at required intervals. These are aligned to an archival process for aging snapshots in accordance with your specific governance and compliance policies. Ollion can perform restorations from snapshots at your request.
Security of your environment
Under the shared responsibility model, the cloud service provider, the customer and Ollion jointly share responsibility for being good citizens of the cloud. This means we are all responsible for not acting maliciously or being negligent in following the guidelines of running applications on the public cloud. To make your job easier, Ollion takes care of ensuring that your systems adhere to the Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks and CSP security best practices.

Security and compliance check

Cloud cost management assessment
Many organizations lack the skills, tools and knowledge to drive the cultural discipline of making informed cloud cost decisions. Failure to do so will not only lead to budget overruns, but can result in future cloud initiatives being put on hold.
"Considering the problematic skill shortages that are pervasive across the IT industry, cloud-native modernization projects often fall short of expectations.
To improve the chance of success while reducing cost, complexity, and risk to the organization, IT decision makers should consider augmenting internal operations with third-party, outside expertise."
