THE CHALLENGE
This law firm’s marketing team wanted to create a 360-degree client overview dashboard but did not have an efficient way of combining information from multiple data sources and CRMs.
THE SOLUTION
We loaded and transformed all required data into Snowflake and stored business definitions in Informatica, allowing the marketing team to quickly identify the data they needed for the Tableau dashboards we built for them.

The challenge
This law firm’s marketing team wanted to create a 360-degree client overview dashboard but did not have an efficient way of combining information from multiple data sources and CRMs. Their existing process consisted of manually extracting data from CRMs and other sources and pasting them into Excel. Creating these reports was time-consuming and inefficient for the marketing team.
The goal was to create a data hub that centralizes all the necessary data into one main data warehouse in the cloud, as well as to create insightful dashboards to have a 360 client/company view. This would allow the marketing team, and other teams within the company, to access the data in a self-serve manner.
Making an impact
Ollion loaded and transformed all data required for the marketing team into the Snowflake Data Cloud. The data was also defined and classified in Informatica’s Enterprise Data Catalog to store all business definitions, allowing the marketing team to quickly identify the data required for the dashboard.
The Ollion team then created multiple Tableau dashboards that included information about the firm’s clients.
The outcome
In one snapshot, lawyers and partners can see every matter and activity associated with each client. The dashboards allowed the marketing teams to explore their data like they never could before, drill down into specific details and customize views based on their individual needs.
The marketing team now has one holistic view of their marketing data, so they can devise targeted marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. The creation of the data hub and dashboards reduced the amount of time gathering data and creating dashboards by more than 50%.
