The Challenge
Our client had an older ERP that required a significant amount of manual manipulation and resulted in low-quality reporting.
The Solution
In conjunction with a larger ERP upgrade project, Ollion implemented a central data hub to combine disparate sources, manage quality, and act as a “single source of the truth” for multiple reporting tools, including Cognos, TM1, and a variety of custom applications. The system used Ollion’s ETL Framework, SSIS, and SQL Server to transform operational data into an analyzable data warehouse. Ollion also supported the integration of new applications into the centralized data hub.
The Outcome
Our client now has a foundation for a comprehensive business intelligence ecosystem, business users have faster, more accurate access to their data, and the new BI system has replaced dozens of obsolete technologies and reporting designs.
